BHPC observes the Lord's Supper weekly. We invite all professing Christians whose membership is in good standing with an evangelical, Bible-believing congregation to join with us at the Lord's Table. If you desire to partake of the Supper, please contact one of the elders for a short interview. You may do this prior to Sunday through the church office or via email, or arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the morning worship service. If you have not been interviewed, we ask that you refrain from taking the Supper.

A Few Notes About Our Services
* If you are visiting with us today, please help us to get to know you by filling out one of the blue cards in the pew racks and placing it in the offering plate when the offering is collected.
* When the prelude begins, please curtail conversation and prepare your hearts for worship. Please make sure electronic devices are off or using silent mode.
* We love children in our worship services! For our parents, there is a Cry Room in the back of the sanctuary for calming children in order to return to the worship service. We also offer a Visitors' Nursery for children 3 and under. If you wish to utilize it, please speak with the greeter for directions.
* Hearing assistance devices are available at the taping table.
* If you should need assistance in any way, please speak with our greeter.

*Our First Sunday Fellowship Meal will be after the morning worship service, to be followed by our prayer meeting & hymn sing at 2:00 & afternoon worship service at 2:30.
*An offering for our congregation's Mercy Fund will be taken up at today's morning worship service.
*The Session will have its monthly meeting this Wednesday at 6:00 PM in Sunday School Room 3.
*Our Community Breakfast and Clothing Closet Outreach will be this Saturday morning from 9 - Noon. If you would like to help, please see Dave Francey (breakfast) or Jeannette Rogers (clothing).

Corporate Confession of Sin:

Almighty God, we acknowledge and confess that we have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed; we have not loved you with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength; we have not loved our neighbor as ourselves. Where we should be overflowing fountains of praise and love, we are instead dry cisterns. By your Spirit soften our hearts and fill us with your presence. Make us truly repentant for the wrong we have done, and the good we have left undone. Lord, you are full of compassion and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy; calling us anew to turn to you to quench our thirsty souls, rather than to the idols we make that cannot satisfy! Restore us by your Spirit, that we may be overflowing channels of grace and mercy and power. We ask this by Him Whom the Spirit raised from the dead--Who both live and reign with You, world without end. Amen.
