BHPC observes the Lord's Supper weekly. We invite all professing Christians whose membership is in good standing with an evangelical, Bible-believing congregation to join with us at the Lord's Table. If you desire to partake of the Supper, please contact one of the elders for a short interview. You may do this prior to Sunday through the church office or via email, or arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the morning worship service. If you have not been interviewed, we ask that you refrain from taking the Supper.

A Few Notes About Our Services
* If you are visiting with us today, please help us to get to know you by filling out one of the blue cards in the pew racks and placing it in the offering plate when the offering is collected.
* When the prelude begins, please curtail conversation and prepare your hearts for worship. Please make sure electronic devices are off or using silent mode.
* We love children in our worship services! For our parents, there is a Cry Room in the back of the sanctuary for calming children in order to return to the worship service. We also offer a Visitors' Nursery for children 3 and under. If you wish to utilize it, please speak with the greeter for directions.
* Hearing assistance devices are available at the taping table.
* If you should need assistance in any way, please speak with our greeter.

Announcements for April 19, 2009
*The Clothes Closet Ministry outreach will be open this Wednesday from 9 AM - Noon.
*Our prayer meeting for the advance of the Gospel is this Wednesday at 7:30 PM in the Chapel.
*The Session will have its monthly meeting at 8 PM this Wednesday in Sunday School Room 3.
*The WIC will have its business meeting this Wednesday at 8 PM in Sunday School Room 4.
*There will be a baby shower given by the WIC for Audrey Tolle, Julie Johnson, and the Pregnancy Resource Center, Saturday, April 25, 2009 at 2 PM in the fellowship hall. We will be giving a group cash gift to Audrey and Julie and will collect diapers and wipes for the PRC. See Cindy Francey or Marie Butler for more information. Please give your donation to the cash gifts to Cindy before Saturday.

Corporate Confession of Sin:

Eternal God, You do not change.
You have revealed Yourself to us in Your Word.
You call us to worship You in spirit and in truth.
But we confess that we often worship
not Your true self, but who we wish You to be.
We too often ask You to bless what we do
rather than seeking to do what You bless.
Forgive us for seeking concessions
when we should be seeking guidance.
Forgive us when our worship shapes You into what we want
instead of shaping us into what You want.
